A first-of-its-kind initiative in the Arab world, ‘Lughati’ is a manifestation of the belief of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah that the Arabic language is a crucial contemporary component for scientific and social progress.
Lughati aims to empower the national Arabic curriculum with state-of-the-art smart learning tools that includes tablets, software, and technical training. Its aim is to assist children in using Arabic in interactive ways in pursuit of science, knowledge and the humanities. Also, to encourage them to incorporate the language into their daily lives.
Lughati is introducing smart devices, software, and training programs to learning environments across Sharjah. The goal is to enhance creativity and encourage an engaging and proactive approach to the integration of Arabic into everyday use. The initiative also manages training programs for both faculty members and students to better equip them with the technical knowledge needed to effectively incorporate the scheme.
The Lughati initiative seeks to facilitate the learning of Arabic language among children through the use of smart applications. Horouf aims to encourage and enable early education in the Arabic language. It focuses on improving the level of Arabic literacy among children, in an engaging and innovative way.
Horouf publications are designed to meet the needs of every child, by encouraging him or her to develop their physical, mental, and sensory skills, and giving them the freedom to move, search, and discover. Horouf’s motto is “learning is fun”, and we implement this credo by building a balanced relationship between the children and their environment, their teachers, and their society.
Horouf publications are known to be comprehensive and diverse, addressing several age groups interactively. They are available in print and on the Horouf application.
